Dr. Heffelfinger was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware and has called Virginia Beach his home for the last ten years. He is a proud graduate of James Madison University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree Cum Laude. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry.
Dr. Heffelfinger is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association and the Tidewater Dental Association. He frequently volunteers his time educating students from local elementary schools and serves as a mentor to rising dental professionals.
Dr. Heffelfinger especially enjoys interacting with his patients and the satisfaction of having such positive impact in their lives.
Coastal Virginia Magazine recently recognized Dr. Heffelfinger as a “Top Dentist 2014”, as voted on by his fellow dental colleagues throughout Hampton Roads.
Mike, his wife, Erin, and their three delightful children, Keely, Miles and Wiley, love the beach lifestyle. In his free time, he coaches soccer and basketball, enjoys traveling, fishing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
